Run Direct Inc. ("Run Direct," "we," "us," or "our") operates rundirect.net (the "Site") and provides recruiting services for CDL-A flatbed driving positions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including specific consent terms for text messages and phone calls related to job opportunities.

1. Information We Collect

When you use our Site, apply for a driving position, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact information: name, phone number, email address, city, and state.
  • Application details: driving experience, license status, schedule preferences, age range, and driving record information you voluntarily provide during the qualification questionnaire.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referral source, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (for example, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager).
  • Marketing attribution data: UTM parameters, click identifiers (such as Google Click ID or Facebook Click ID), and the campaign or ad that referred you to the Site, used to measure which advertising is effective.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To evaluate your interest in and qualification for driving positions with Run Direct.
  • To contact you by phone, text message, or email about job opportunities you have expressed interest in.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our recruiting process.
  • To measure the performance of our advertising (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook ads) and understand which channels bring us qualified applicants.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including U.S. Department of Transportation and FMCSA requirements applicable to commercial driver hiring.

3. Text Message & Phone Call Consent (TCPA)

By submitting your phone number through our online qualification form, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from Run Direct and its recruiting staff at the phone number you provided, including calls or texts made using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded/artificial voice, for the purpose of discussing job opportunities and your application status.

  • Consent to receive automated calls or texts is not a condition of employment or a condition of applying. You may still apply by calling us directly at 224-588-3441 instead of submitting the online form.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your application status.
  • You may revoke consent at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message, or by calling 224-588-3441 and asking to be removed from our contact list.
  • This consent is governed by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and its implementing regulations.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our Site, and we may use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure advertising performance. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address, device type, and browsing behavior on our Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site, store applicant data (such as Google Sheets/Google Workspace), and manage recruiting communications.
  • Advertising platforms (Google, Meta) in aggregated or hashed form, solely to measure and improve ad performance — not to sell your data to third parties for their own marketing.
  • Government agencies or regulators when required by law, such as FMCSA reporting obligations for commercial drivers.

6. Data Retention

We retain applicant information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate your application, maintain hiring records as required by DOT/FMCSA regulations, and respond to any follow-up inquiries. You may request deletion of your information at any time as described below.

7. Your Choices & Rights

  • You may opt out of text/call communications at any time (see Section 3).
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected] or calling 224-588-3441.
  • Residents of states with applicable privacy laws (e.g., California, Illinois) may have additional rights regarding their personal information; contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Site and recruiting services are intended for individuals who meet the minimum age and licensing requirements for commercial driving positions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
